Author Fee
The Journal of Computers and Digital Business (JCDB) is an Open Access journal dedicated to the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge. Starting from 2026, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 1,300,000 for each accepted manuscript to support the editorial, peer-review, and production processes. All published articles remain freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription or access fees, ensuring transparency and sustainability in journal management. Submission does not guarantee publication, as all editorial decisions are made solely at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief and the editorial board based on the merit of the peer-review process.
Recognition for Outstanding Articles
To encourage high-quality research contributions, JCDB provides a monetary reward of IDR 500,000 and waives the publication fee for selected outstanding articles. This incentive is granted based on exceptional peer-review evaluations and editorial assessment. This policy is subject to periodic review, and any updates will be communicated through this page.
Article Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawing a submitted manuscript is discouraged, as it affects the efficiency of the peer review and editorial process. However, under certain conditions, authors may request a withdrawal, subject to the following terms:
- Before Peer Review: Authors may withdraw their manuscript by submitting a formal request, stating the reason for withdrawal.
- After Peer Review: Withdrawal requests must be justified and require editorial approval. Authors are strongly encouraged to complete the review process.
- After Acceptance: Manuscript withdrawal at this stage is not permitted unless there are ethical concerns such as plagiarism or data fabrication. If an author insists on withdrawing, future submissions may be subject to restrictions.
Author Inactivity
Authors are expected to respond to editorial and reviewer communications in a timely manner. If an author fails to respond to a revision request within six months, the manuscript will be considered inactive and removed from the submission system. Repeated instances of author inactivity may result in temporary restrictions on future submissions to maintain the efficiency and integrity of the publication process. The Journal of Computers and Digital Business is committed to maintaining high ethical publishing standards. All policies are subject to periodic review and will be updated as necessary.
