Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission

1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English.
2. All submissions will be initially reviewed by the Editorial Board.
3. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, using Microsoft Office 2010 or newer versions.
4. The manuscript should consist of 5 to 10 pages, typed in a single-column format on A4 size paper.
5. Submissions must contain original work with the potential to contribute significantly to scientific advancement.

Article Withdrawal

1. Manuscripts cannot be withdrawn after submission, as such actions waste the time and effort of editors and reviewers.
2. If an author insists on withdrawing a manuscript, a fine of Rp. 500,000,- (five hundred thousand rupiah) will be applied.
3. The withdrawal will be processed only after the author has made the payment and submitted proof of payment to the JCBD Editorial Team.
4. If the author refuses to pay the fine, they will be blacklisted from publishing in JCBD.
5. Previously published manuscripts by the same author(s) may also be removed from the JCBD system.
6. The blacklist will include the full names, email addresses, and affiliations of all authors associated with the manuscript.

Author Inactivity

1. If an author fails to respond to a review request or revise their manuscript for more than 6 months, the manuscript will remain in active status on the JCBD online system.
2. This inactivity wastes the time and effort of editors and reviewers.
3. Authors who exhibit such behavior will be blacklisted from publishing in JCBD.
4. Previously published manuscripts by the same author(s) may also be removed from the JCBD system.
5. The blacklist will include the full names, email addresses, and affiliations of all authors associated with the manuscript.
