Author Guidelines

Authors may submit manuscripts in Indonesian or English. All submissions undergo an initial review by the Editorial Board before being sent for peer review.

Manuscript Submission

  1. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, using Microsoft Office 2010 or newer versions.
  2. The length of the manuscript should be 5 to 10 pages, formatted in a single-column layout on A4-size paper.
  3. Submitted manuscripts must present original research with a significant contribution to scientific knowledge.
  4. Authors must adhere to the Article Template, available in the right-hand menu.
  5. Manuscripts must be typeset in Garamond, 10 pt, in accordance with the article template.

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts must include the following sections in the order listed below:

  1. Title must accurately reflect the focus and content of the manuscript.
  2. Author Information including the institutional affiliation of all authors, identification of the corresponding author, and the corresponding author's email address.
  3. Abstract written in 180–200 words, followed by keywords.
  4. Introduction including background and a relevant literature review.
  5. Research Methodology describing the approach and methods employed.
  6. Results and Discussion presenting findings with analysis and interpretation.
  7. Conclusion summarizing key findings and the contribution of the research.
  8. References compiled in accordance with the IEEE citation style.

Section headings are limited to two levels. The use of sub-subheadings beyond the second level is not permitted.

Abstract

The abstract must be written as a single paragraph of 180–200 words. A well-formed abstract must include all of the following components:

  1. The purpose of the research.
  2. The methodology or approach employed.
  3. The key findings or main conclusions.
  4. The originality or novelty of the research.

The abstract must be followed by relevant keywords.

Figures (if applicable)

  1. All figures must be clear, sharp, and legible.
  2. Figures must follow a formal style, without excessive titling within the figure itself.
  3. All textual information within figures must be written in Indonesian; decimal numbers must use a period (.) rather than a comma (,) in accordance with international standards.
  4. Each figure must be accompanied by a caption placed below the figure, numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1. Caption text).
  5. All figures must be cited in the text using a consistent citation format.
  6. Figures must not be referenced using the terms "below" or "above"; refer to figures by their assigned number.

Tables (if applicable)

  1. All text within tables must be clear and legible.
  2. All tables must follow a formal and consistent style.
  3. All information within tables must be written in Indonesian; decimal numbers must use a period (.) rather than a comma (,).
  4. Each table must have a title placed above the table, numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1. Title text).
  5. All tables must be cited in the text using a consistent citation format.
  6. Tables must not be referenced using the terms "below" or "above"; refer to tables by their assigned number.

Equations (if applicable)

  1. All equations must be created using an equation editor and must not be inserted as images.
  2. Each equation must be assigned a sequential number, placed consistently on the right-hand side.
  3. All equations must be cited in the text using a consistent citation format.
  4. Equations must not be referenced using the terms "below" or "above"; refer to equations by their assigned number.

References and Citations

All references and in-text citations must consistently follow the IEEE citation style. The following requirements apply:

  1. The manuscript must cite a minimum of 15 references.
  2. All references must have an active and accessible DOI.
  3. Journal names in the reference list must be written in full, not abbreviated.
  4. All references listed must be cited in the text.
  5. In-text citations must follow standard conventions and be applied consistently throughout the manuscript.
  6. Self-citations must not exceed two items.
  7. Author names must be listed as follows: list all authors if there are three or fewer; for more than three authors, list the first six authors followed by et al.

Article Withdrawal Policy

Authors are discouraged from withdrawing manuscripts after submission, as this disrupts the editorial and review process. However, withdrawal may be considered under specific circumstances:

  1. Before Peer Review Authors must submit a formal request stating the reason for withdrawal.
  2. After Peer Review Withdrawal requests require editorial approval and must be justified with valid reasons.
  3. After Acceptance Manuscript withdrawal at this stage is not permitted unless ethical concerns (such as plagiarism or data falsification) are identified.

Unjustified withdrawal requests after acceptance may result in future submission restrictions.

Author Inactivity

Authors are expected to respond to editorial and reviewer communications in a timely manner.

  1. If an author fails to respond to a review request or revision request within six months, the manuscript will be considered inactive and may be removed from the submission system.
  2. Repeated inactivity may lead to temporary submission restrictions to maintain the integrity of the publication process.

All policies are subject to periodic review and may be updated as necessary.
